Doug Ithier
CEO and Founder
Doug began his career as a professional footballer, an experience that shaped his character and instilled the discipline, resilience, and leadership that would later define his business journey.
Transitioning from sport to entrepreneurship, Doug has spent the past two decades building a substantial track record in executive management, business ownership, and strategic leadership. He has successfully operated multiple companies, each reflecting his vision, commercial acumen, and ability to execute under pressure.
His expertise spans several sectors, including global trade, where he has navigated complex international markets, and real estate, where he has been involved in numerous property development projects and investment ventures. Doug’s strengths include negotiation, capital raising, and securing funding for projects both locally and internationally.
With extensive experience in the sale and marketing of investment property, project marketing of new apartments, joint‑venture development, and development consultancy, Doug has worked closely with developers across all stages of the project lifecycle—pricing, capital raising, marketing strategy, and sales deployment. His career has taken him across Australia, Dubai, Malaysia, and Singapore, giving him valuable international property insight.
Following his sporting career, Doug pursued his passion for property, achieving significant success in project sales and marketing. He has personally sold over half a billion dollars’ worth of property and contributed to the marketing of more than $3.5 billion in developments.
Doug completed his REIWA Real Estate Sales Representative course over 19 years ago and is an active investor and developer with a substantial property portfolio. He holds a current Triennial Certificate as a licensed Real Estate & Business Agent and has completed a Diploma of Property through the Real Estate Institute of WA (REIWA).
From the football field to the boardroom, Doug’s journey is defined by transition, determination, and sustained success—driven by the same passion and work ethic that shaped his early career.

Michael Fitzgerald
Development Director
Mike’s planning background enables him to add significant value at the planning and design stage of a development, by ensuring that “off the shelf” design solutions prepared by consultants, are modified to unlock all efficiencies obtainable in the context of the developments’ timeframe. Mike also has considerable analysis capabilities undertaking complex feasibility studies across all development types including land subdivision, and built form commercial and residential development.
Before moving to Perth in 2002, Mike successfully designed and managed a large number of land subdivisions in New Zealand. On his arrival in Australia, Mike spent 3 years in the employment of 2 large land development companies, learning the Perth system, before taking on a Development Management role with a well known Perth development company where he held this position for 10 years.
Mike still works with this developer but as a consultant, having established his own project management company in 2010. This company contracts to a select number of clients with substantial property portfolios that can always benefit from value adding and redevelopment.
Mikes good working knowledge of the Perth metro area also allows him an opportunity to put together new developments for syndication and joint venture development.
The collaboration with Vital Property Group will leverage of this knowledge and Mikes experience assembling and managing a large multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects like land estates, Commercial business parks and urban regeneration projects with the capacity for 2500 residential units.
Mike graduated from The University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Economics, a BCom in business management / Economics, and a Masters Degree in Resource Management.
